We’ll be straightforward: swapping a roller is not a spring job. The dangerous parts of a Genie door are the torsion spring and the cables under tension; the rollers themselves don’t store dangerous energy. What makes roller work go sideways is a door still connected to the opener, or a homeowner pulling the wrong bolt.
